      You’re on fire with the great questions today!

      Well, I personally wouldn’t want to swim in water colder than 8 degrees… but I’m a wimp.

      There are some crazy little animals that live inside sea ice which can comfortably live in temperatures as low as -20 degrees! The seawater inside the ice that they live in is so salty that is doesn’t freeze at this cold temperature.

      Humans are not as tough as these sea ice animals though. If you were to jump into water with a temperature of 0 degrees celsius then you would be lucky if you survived more than 15 minutes! Luckily for us, we can wear wetsuits and gloves etc which can make it a bit more bearable, so divers in the Arctic can last a bit longer than this.
