• Question: what is the most interesting experiment you have ever done?

      That’s a great question, and I’m not really sure if I know the answer to it! I think every time I try something new is pretty exciting as I never know what will happen. Last week I tried a new bit of equipment we built in the lab. … That was pretty exciting as we weren’t sure if it would work or if we’d wasted lots of time and money building it. ….. lucky it did work. I think the most exciting experiments are the ones I have no idea what the result will be.

      Another fun experiment is always playing with liquid nitrogen. ….. When I was at uni we put jelly sweets in it and then threw them at the floor and they each shattered into thousands of pieces. I’m not sure if our lecturers were very happy though as when they warmed up they made a very sticky mess all over the floor!
