• Question: Why would you prefer to set up a webcam than study your own work? Is it something that has not been done before?

        Hi sophiemorris, thank you for this question!

        I’m not in this competition to help me with my own research, the main aim is to get you students more interested in science (which has hopefully worked!).

        I would really like the webcam to act as a way for anyone to be able to go online and have a look at the wonderful marine wildlife that lives around the coast of Britain. This webcam might then make people a little more interested in the ocean and things that live in it.

        There are actually a couple of aquariums around the world that have done this webcam idea before, here’s a link to the website where you can have a better look.
